Driven by sustained growth year after year, they are now seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to help accelerate their next phase of expansion. This role blends the excitement of winning new business with the responsibility of nurturing and growing an established portfolio of accounts across the Northeast of England. It’s a dynamic, hybrid position combining the home working with occasional face-to-face client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts across the designated territory, driving revenue growth within each account
  • Grow account base across the region by identifying & prospecting opportunities for new business
  • Manage the full sales cycle with prospective accounts
  • Build long-term relationships with all key stakeholders across both prospective & existing accounts, gaining a full understanding of their business needs
  • Attend face to face meetings with clients across the territory

The Successful Candidate

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling a product / services / software solution to the public sector is ideal
  • Experience selling into the NHS, local authorities, governments, local councils, housing associations or education is ideal
  • Based in the Northeast of England

Business Development Manager Package

  • Basic salary: up to £59,000
  • OTE: circa +£20,000 (uncapped)
  • Guaranteed commission for first three months of joining the business
