Our client is a globally recognised, award-winning organisation operating at the forefront of digital education and workforce transformation. With a strong international presence and partnerships across enterprise and public sector organisations, they are a market leader in delivering cutting-edge, tech-enabled training solutions in data, technology, finance and procurement.
Due to continued growth across their tech-focused division, they are now looking for a Business Development Representative to play a key role in driving new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated individual looking to break into a high-growth, future-focused industry with clear progression into senior sales roles.
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation to attend the London office twice per week, alongside occasional travel to industry events and team meet-ups.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound sales activity (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach)
- Conduct outreach to engage prospective clients and build a strong sales pipeline
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, identifying client needs and matching them with relevant digital learning solutions
- Book and schedule discovery calls and product demos for senior sales colleagues
- Research target organisations and key decision-makers across HR, L&D and technical teams
- Collaborate closely with marketing to follow up on campaigns, webinars and events
- Support and attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring all activity and pipeline data is up to date
- Track and report on key performance metrics including calls, meetings booked and conversion rates
- Stay informed on trends within data, AI, and technology to enhance client conversations
The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential
- Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Resilient, positive, and comfortable working in a high-activity outbound environment
- Highly motivated with a proactive mindset
- Interest in technology, edtech, digital transformation, or the education/training sector
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) or sales tools is advantageous
- Commutable to London twice per week
The Business Development Representative Package
- Basic salary up to £30,500
- £10-£20k OTE (uncapped)
- Hybrid role, expectation 2 days per week in London office (travel and lunch expenses covered when visiting office)
