Were seeking a highly organised and technically adept Technology Escrow Specialist to support a strategic uplift programme aimed at assessing, redefining, and fortifying the Third Party Technology Escrow framework.
This is a critical role ensuring the most vital third-party software services from on-premise applications to SaaS are backed by robust, verifiable, and release-ready escrow arrangements, aligned with global regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct an As Is assessment of existing escrow usage, with a focus on coverage of Important/Critical Services, frequency of deposits, and levels of validation.
Define new policy standards and guidance in collaboration with stakeholders across the first and second lines of defence.
Develop a comprehensive escrow framework addressing:
o Service-type criteria for escrow relevance
o Source code deposit requirements
o Build and verification processes
o Contractual considerations
Design a supporting operating model defining role-based escrow responsibilities.
Establish best-practice governance, reporting, and records management for escrow arrangements.
Drive remediation efforts to ensure critical third-party services are protected by effective escrow mechanisms.
Engage closely with Legal, Procurement, Technology, and external escrow providers to embed stronger controls.
Define and implement governance and oversight structures to maintain compliance and manage exceptions.

What Youll Bring:
Experience:
Strong track record in end-to-end software escrow management, including contract setup, source code verification, live scenario execution, and framework oversight.
Hands-on experience with source code deposit and build verification, including coordinating technical verifications with external agents.
In-depth understanding of the Third Party Management lifecycle and supplier risk dynamics.
Knowledge of key resilience regulations, such as PRA SS1/21 and DORA (EU Regulation 2022/2554).
Background in Third Party Risk and Resilience, with experience in cybersecurity, business continuity, and exit strategies.
Familiarity with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) best practices.
Skills:
Analytical thinker with the ability to convert complex data and requirements into clear, actionable plans.
Self-starter who can independently drive results and manage competing priorities.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
