Junior Business Development Executive – IoT (UK Market)

Location: Remote (UK-based, some travel required)

Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 base + up to £20,000 bonus (OTE up to £70,000)

Start date: ASAP

We’re supporting a global tech company as they expand their UK sales team – and they’re hiring junior-level B2B sales professionals to join their growing IoT division.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in sales who’s ready to develop further within a globally recognised brand. You’ll be supported by experienced sales leaders and collaborate with technical teams to build relationships with enterprise clients across automotive and other key sectors.

If you enjoy outbound sales, are commercially minded, and have a genuine interest in how IoT is transforming industries – this role offers excellent exposure and growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new UK business opportunities
  • Reach out to enterprise leads and build early-stage relationships
  • Support senior sales colleagues on strategic deals
  • Assist in proposal development, follow-ups, and meeting preparation
  • Attend occasional client meetings and industry events across the UK

What we're looking for:

  • 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in tech, telco, or SaaS
  • A strong interest in IoT and emerging technologies
  • Confidence in engaging with decision-makers and building rapport
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • UK-based, with the ability to travel when required

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Telco, MNO, or MVNO environments
  • Familiarity with automotive, logistics, or connected tech sectors
  • Previous use of CRMs or outbound prospecting tools
