We're looking for a Technical Product Engineer to join a highly technical team at the intersection of software engineering, APIs, AI and product development.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working beyond the code. You'll combine your technical expertise with customer engagement, helping partners build on the platform, solving complex integration challenges and influencing the future direction of the product.
Working closely with Engineering, Product and customers, you'll play a key role in shaping API capabilities, driving technical integrations and supporting the evolution of AI-powered products, MCP integrations and next-generation platform features.
The Role
You'll act as the technical bridge between customers, engineering and product, helping organisations successfully integrate with the platform while identifying opportunities to improve its capabilities.
This is a highly technical role requiring someone who can engage credibly with software engineers, understand complex backend systems and APIs, translate customer requirements into technical solutions and influence product direction.
Rather than simply supporting existing integrations, you'll help define what's built next.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and integration partners to deliver successful API integrations
- Provide expert technical guidance on APIs, platform capabilities and best practices
- Gather technical requirements and translate them into scalable product and engineering solutions
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to design and enhance API functionality
- Identify opportunities for new integrations, platform improvements and developer tooling
- Evaluate technical partnerships and third-party integrations
- Help shape the future API strategy and developer experience
- Support AI-powered workflows, MCP integrations and emerging platform capabilities
- Act as the technical link between customers, Product and Engineering teams
About You
You'll likely come from a Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, Technical Lead, Solutions Engineering or Platform Engineering background and enjoy working closely with customers to solve complex technical challenges.
You'll bring:
- Strong commercial experience building or working with REST APIs
- A solid software engineering background with excellent technical credibility
- Experience working directly with customers, partners or external technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of backend systems, API architecture and software integrations
- The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience working within SaaS, cloud platforms or software product businesses
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
