Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our organisation as the first point of contact for IT support.

The role is based on site in our London office which currently has around 90 team members who require support with IT / system queries as well as setting up and preparing for new team members joining us.

This position will work alongside our special projects team who are responsible for overseeing the implementation and set up of specific IT systems such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• To support and assist in the day to day running of the IT function of a premium fashion wholesale business for Windows, MAC devices and printers.

• Provide company-wide assistance with a range of hands on IT operations and projects from 1st level upwards.

• Provide end-user device support, whether laptops, mobile devices or office applications, in the form of ad hoc advice to users, either verbally or via written documentation.

• Become an expert on all core applications used by the business and provide first line technical support when required.

• Taking full responsibility for all onboarding and offboarding activities including setting up of new hardware and software along with any other required hardware/software set up across the business.

• Where necessary, provide training for new users on both hardware functionality and software.

• Provide technical support during any new product/system implementations and internal change projects undertaken by the business.

• Liaise with third party suppliers and partners to ensure the smooth running of their vital systems within the business, conduct high-level troubleshooting of functionality and when necessary, escalate issues.

• Ensure user desktop connectivity to the network is in accordance with networking standards, policy and infrastructure.

• Co-ordinate the management of servers, networks and cybersecurity.

• Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics, documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.

• Management of all software licenses,

• Full management of the asset life-cycle.

• Responsible for back-up and restore of Microsoft tenant.

• Fully responsible for all aspects of security, passwords, systems and software updates including training and use of MFA.

Key Requirements

• Be fully experienced and conversant with all areas of desktop IT support including Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft applications including but not limited to;- Office 365 E3, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

• Experience in at least one of the following MDM;- Intune’s for windows devices and JAMF for Macs.

• Knowledge and understanding of email and email protocols, and of wired and wireless networking protocols.

• Have knowledge and understanding of security solutions for the protection against and removal of viruses and malware.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to tailor responses to specific technical and non-technical audiences.

• An ability to prioritise and schedule workload in the face of conflicting demands.

• Troubleshooting problems, assessing them and identifying solutions.

• A structured and methodical approach to problem solving.

• Knowledge and experience with ERP tools and existing tools like NuOrder, Centric PLM, Concrete and AX is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Fiery print management, AWS VPN, VOIP/3CX, Adobe Suite desirable not essential.
