Financial Crime Project Manager - Fixed Term Contract

Fixed Term Contract until end of Dec 2026

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Financial Crime change initiatives that make a real difference to how we protect our organisation and our members. You’ll take projects from initial idea through to successful completion, keeping delivery on track against agreed time, cost and quality standards.

Working within the Financial Crime Unit, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Technology, Data, Operations and Risk, bringing structure and clarity to complex pieces of work. You’ll make sure governance is followed, progress is transparent and stakeholders feel informed and involved.

A key part of the role is ensuring change lands well. You’ll shape business readiness plans, guide people through transitions and ensure new processes and controls are properly embedded before handing them over to operational teams. Throughout, you’ll use your influencing skills to keep momentum, manage expectations and support good decision‐making.

About You

You’ll bring recognised professional project management experience — PRINCE2, APM, PMI or equivalent and a strong background leading delivery in a regulated environment. You’ll be confident managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and RAID management through to budget oversight, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll be someone who can work effectively across matrix environments, quickly build credibility with diverse teams and communicate in a way that helps others understand what’s needed and why. Experience with tools such as MS Project, Planner and Power BI will help you keep information structured and accessible.

You’ll also understand what it takes to deliver sustainable change. You know how to prepare colleagues for what’s coming, how to guide them through it, and how to ensure benefits are realised and measured. Strong judgement, organisational discipline and the ability to bring people with you will be essential.
