The Role

As our Website Executive, you’ll play a key role in bringing our holidays to life online. Reporting to our Website Manager and working at the heart of our eCommerce team, you’ll influence and shape how customers discover and experience Newmarket Holidays - from setting up new tours and supporting campaigns to improving how our website performs. It’s a hands-on role where your creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail will really make an impact.

Who we are looking for

• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco, WordPress, Sitecore)

• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for copy editing and content accuracy

• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines

• Hands on experience of website tracking and reporting tools (Such as Google Analytics 4)

• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to on-page content, metadata, and user experience

• A positive, enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to improve

• Keen to learn new digital skills and grow within a supportive and fast-moving eCommerce team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities

• Upload and publish new products, promotions, and content, ensuring everything appears in the right place at the right time

• Keep the website looking its best by regularly checking and updating content to make sure it’s accurate, engaging, and easy to use

• Help maintain and develop new pages and components in the CMS, checking that everything looks and functions as it should before going live

• Set up and support marketing promotions alongside our marketing teams

• Apply basic SEO best practices across page titles, metadata, headings, and internal linking to improve search visibility and engagement

• Work closely with marketing managers on paid search, social, email and SEO activity

• Make sure all content follows brand and accessibility standards

• Flag and help resolve any website issues such as broken links or display errors, coordinating with the development team where needed

• Help produce and share weekly and monthly website performance reports
