You will join a large‐scale, multi‐entity Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) transformation programme involving:

• Extensive system integrations
• Complex financial data migration cycles
• Collaboration across global delivery teams
• A multi‐year rollout across numerous business units

Role Overview

As a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant, you will lead the functional discovery, design, configuration, and testing of core Finance modules.

You will collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, finance leadership, and global stakeholders to ensure processes are correctly designed, standardised, and rolled out across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Run finance‐focused workshops, perform fit‐gap analysis, and create functional design documentation.
• Configure F&O Finance modules and validate end‐to‐end business processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Budgeting).
• Work with technical teams to define and validate finance‐related integration requirements (APIs, Data Entities, OData, batch jobs).
• Support the finance data migration stream: mapping, cleansing, transformation rules, reconciliation checks, and validation cycles.
• Prepare and execute test cases for SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
• Create finance user documentation, deliver training sessions, and support hypercare after go‐lives.
• Ensure all design, configuration, and testing deliverables meet programme documentation standards.
• Liaise with global finance stakeholders to ensure alignment on processes and adoption across regions.

Required Experience

• 3–5+ years as a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant (or AX 2012 Finance).
• Strong hands‐on experience with Finance modules:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Cash & Bank
• Budgeting / Cost Accounting
• Solid understanding of financial integrations (banking interfaces, reporting tools, expense platforms, AP/AR automation).
• Experience using Azure DevOps for work items, documentation, and test management.
• Comfortable working in complex, fully remote, international project environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
