Director SAP Data
Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a Head of SAP Data to lead and scale their SAP data capability. This is a critical leadership role requiring a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong commercial acumen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering end-to-end SAP data solutions, including SAP S/4HANA data migration and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), while aligning with enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks.
This role spans solution architecture, large-scale programme delivery, business development, and capability building, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and leading complex transformation programmes globally.
- Define and execute the SAP Data strategy aligned with broader technology and transformation goals
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing SAP data team across regions
- Lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA sales opportunities and proactively drive upselling of data-centric solutions
- Identify market opportunities and shape innovative, value-driven SAP data propositions
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale SAP S/4HANA data migration and SAP MDG programmes
- Oversee architecture, design, and implementation ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Successfully deliver global template deployments across industries and geographies
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and client satisfaction
- Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA data migration and MDG solutions
- Define data models, workflows, validation rules, and integration strategies
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Link business process KPIs with data quality, governance, and analytics metrics
- Establish standards, frameworks, and best practices for SAP data implementations
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MDG / Syniti / SNP certifications
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or data modelling certifications
- Experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit
- Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and emerging AI/data technologies
- Experience working across multiple industries and global programmes
