ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

This role sits within a cross-functional technology team that partners with internal Financial, Legal and Corporate departments to deliver digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

As Manager Application Management, you will oversee the implementation and support of multiple enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to internal processes, methodologies and governance frameworks.

The position requires strong leadership skills, proven experience managing cross-functional teams, and the ability to collaborate closely with finance, technology, and payment stakeholders. You will also enable ERP adoption, support financial transformation initiatives, and drive best-practice project management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Stakeholder Engagement, ERP Transformation & Project Management

  • Lead transformation initiatives across standard ERP financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Project Financial Management (PFM), and Project Accounting.
  • Oversee project management activities for ERP transformation programmes, covering planning, execution and delivery of financial and project-accounting-focused solutions.
  • Act as the key link between finance, business, and IT teams to ensure alignment with organisational strategic goals.
  • Conduct training and provide best practice guidance on digital accounting, project accounting, and payment automation within the ERP ecosystem.
  • Support change management to ensure smooth adoption of enhanced financial processes and digital tools.

Digital Transformation, Compliance & Payment Automation

  • Drive digitalisation initiatives across financial processes within the ERP platform, improving automation, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support digital financial statement creation, e-invoicing integration, and automated payment workflows to strengthen regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.
  • Use API-based integrations to connect ERP systems with banking platforms, financial institutions, and payment service providers.

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • 8+ years' experience in financial process transformation, compliance, payment automation, project management and project accounting.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise with financial ERP systems, including configuration and management of PFM, Project Accounting, GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management and payment platforms.
  • Solid background in digital accounting, financial automation, ERP-based reporting, and payment processing.

Financial & Business Acumen

  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, statutory compliance, reconciliation, revenue recognition and financial audit standards.
  • Experience in project accounting, including cost tracking, forecasting, budgeting and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to align financial operations with wider business objectives, ensuring streamlined payment and project accounting processes.

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Experience with Data or AI platforms
  • Professional financial certification (e.g., CPA, CFA)
  • Familiarity with treasury or cash-management tools (e.g., Kyriba)
