Oracle Cloud Data Migration Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Data Migration ERP Expert to lead and execute data migration activities as part of our Oracle Cloud ERP transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering end-to-end data migration solutions — ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data transitioning from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the data migration strategy, planning, and execution for the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation (Finance, Procurement, Projects, HR, etc.).
  • Design and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from multiple legacy systems into Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Develop data mapping and transformation logic , ensuring alignment with Oracle Cloud data models and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define data migration scope, rules, validation criteria, and reconciliation methods .
  • Manage data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure high-quality migrated data.
  • Work closely with technical teams, functional consultants, and system integrators to coordinate migration tasks and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain data migration documentation , including technical designs, migration plans, and test results.
  • Support mock data migrations, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data load errors and performance issues in Oracle Cloud tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, and OTBI .
  • Provide post-migration support and continuous improvement recommendations for data management.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in Oracle ERP data migration projects, including at least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementation .
  • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Finance, SCM, HR, Projects, etc.).
  • Expertise with FBDI templates, ADFDI tools, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and SQL/PLSQL scripting .
  • Proven ability to design and execute complex data migration strategies across large datasets.
  • Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel-based data loads, REST APIs, and integration with external systems (desirable).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid project environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Oracle Cloud ERP certification preferred (e.g., Oracle Cloud Financials, SCM, or Data Management).
  • Project Management or Agile certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) desirable.
