Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect to support a major Oracle Cloud transformation programme. The successful candidate will lead solution design across Oracle Financials whilst working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to deliver a scalable and best-practice Oracle Cloud solution.

Experience across Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Projects modules is required, alongside strong Financials expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
• Design and validate solutions across Oracle Financials and Projects/PPM modules.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Provide functional and architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions align with Oracle best practices and minimise customisation.
• Support fit-gap workshops, solution design sessions, and architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with technical teams, integration specialists, and third-party vendors.
• Manage solution governance, design documentation, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities as required.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect.
• Multiple full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
• Strong expertise across Oracle Cloud Financials, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Management
• Fixed Assets
• Expenses
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Projects and PPM modules.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Experience defining end-to-end solution architecture across ERP transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud reporting, integrations, and data migration considerations.

Desirable Experience

• Oracle Cloud Procurement knowledge.
• Experience within large-scale global transformation programmes.
• Previous consulting or systems integrator background.
• Oracle Cloud certifications.
