Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Consultant to join our team on a long-term engagement starting in January. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing our Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll environment, ensuring accurate payroll operations and successful delivery of ongoing projects and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud Payroll modules.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Perform end-to-end payroll processing support, including testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Support quarterly updates, regression testing, and new feature adoption.
  • Design and configure Fast Formulas, Elements, Batches, and Payroll Flows.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Provide post-go-live support, training, and documentation.
  • Support integrations with third-party systems and upstream/downstream modules.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements (UK, US, or other regions as applicable).
  • Drive continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Payroll Consultant (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll configuration, processes, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and HDL.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory compliance for relevant regions.
  • Experience supporting quarterly patching cycles and release management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with additional Oracle Cloud HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor).
  • Exposure to integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Multi-country payroll experience.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Payroll Implementation Specialist).
