(Senior) SAP Cutover Manager

Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to join their Enterprise Transformation practice. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the cutover strategy for complex SAP implementation and migration programmes across multiple industries.

As a Cutover Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of cutover planning, coordination, execution, and risk mitigation, ensuring seamless transitions from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA or other SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end cutover planning and execution for SAP transformation programmes.
• Develop and own the cutover strategy, master plan, and detailed task lists across all workstreams.
• Coordinate technical, functional, and business teams to ensure readiness for go-live.
• Define and manage mock cutovers, rehearsals, and validation activities.
• Identify and mitigate cutover risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment with programme timelines.
• Work closely with PMO, Data Migration, Testing, and Deployment leads to ensure a smooth transition.
• Manage stakeholder communication and provide clear cutover progress reporting.
• Support post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution as part of transition management.

Essential:

• Proven experience delivering SAP Cutover Management within large-scale SAP programmes (ECC, S/4HANA, or hybrid).
• Strong understanding of SAP modules, technical landscapes, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams in a complex, multi-vendor environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with cutover tools, templates, and project governance frameworks.
