Senior SAP MDG Consultant / Architect

Next Ventures is searching for an experienced Senior SAP MDG Consultant / Architect to join their partners on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a globally recognized organization delivering complex SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) projects across multiple industries. Youll play a key role in defining data strategies, designing MDG architectures, and leading end-to-end implementations that help enterprise clients achieve true data excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver SAP MDG implementations across domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance
• Design and architect scalable MDG solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and legacy systems
• Facilitate client workshops to define data governance frameworks, business rules, and process designs
• Provide expert guidance on MDG configuration, data modeling, workflows, and Fiori UI customization
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integration, and consistency across systems
• Act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on MDG best practices and SAP roadmap alignment
• Support pre-sales, proposal development, and internal capability building within the MDG domain

Key Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) design and implementation
• Strong background in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC data models
• Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles
• Proven experience leading end-to-end MDG projects within a consulting or systems integration environment
• Hands-on experience with MDG integrations (e.g., SAP BTP, Data Services, SLT, APIs, or non-SAP systems)
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Experience mentoring teams and managing project delivery
