Role: 1st Line IT Support Technician Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 Location: Lancaster Required: Driving License and car
Role Overview
Join a growing IT support team as a 1st Line IT Support Technician, providing friendly, responsive help to business users and resolving basic technical issues across desktops, laptops, cloud services and network devices.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for client support requests (phone, ticketing system, remote tools)* Diagnose and resolve routine issues with users' hardware, software and connectivity* Perform password resets, account setup and basic Microsoft 365 support* Record, prioritise and escalate tickets accurately to 2nd Line where required* Assist with device imaging, setups and deployed equipment* Support proactive monitoring and routine tasks to maintain service health
Skills & Experience
* 1+ years' experience in a support role or relevant IT environment* Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 & common business applications* Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)* Strong communicator with a customer-focused mindset* Comfortable working in a small team supporting multiple clients
