About the Role

We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join our team in the Northwest. This is a key technical role, providing advanced support and working on complex IT issues and projects.

As a 3rd Line Engineer, you will handle escalated incidents, carry out system administration, and take ownership of infrastructure improvements. You will work closely with other engineers and support staff to ensure the stability and performance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve 3rd line technical incidents and service requests
• Support and maintain servers, networks, and cloud platforms
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
• Assist with IT projects and system upgrades
• Document solutions, processes, and technical procedures
• Provide guidance and support to 1st and 2nd line engineers

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a 3rd Line Engineer or similar senior IT support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Experience with networking (switches, firewalls, routing)
• Virtualisation experience (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure / AWS)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
