We're hiring for a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Southend-on-Sea, helping ambitious brands get found, grow, and convert online. As we expand our client portfolio, we're looking for a talented SEO Specialist to join our team - someone who lives and breathes search, is driven by data, and gets a genuine buzz from seeing client's rank.

What you'll be doing

Developing and executing SEO strategies across a diverse client base - from local businesses to national brands

Conducting technical audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis

Managing on-page optimisation, site structure, and internal linking improvements

Building high-quality backlink profiles through digital PR, outreach, and content partnerships

Collaborating with our content and paid media teams to create joined-up campaigns

Reporting on performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush

Staying ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends to keep our clients ahead of the curve

What we're looking for

2-6+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within an agency environment

Strong technical SEO knowledge - crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, site speed

Confident with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console

Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritise effectively

Clear communicator - able to explain SEO concepts simply to clients who aren't specialists

A genuine passion for digital marketing and a desire to grow with the agency
