Senior Software Developer Clacton-on-Sea | Hybrid

Salary: £50k+

A great client of mine, a leading technology company, is looking to hire a Senior .NET Developer to join their engineering team. This is a strong opportunity to work within a well-established business that values solid engineering, long-term thinking and gives senior developers real ownership over their work.

With a complex, business-critical tech stack and a clear roadmap for improvement and modernisation, they're looking for someone confident working across both legacy and modern .NET environments.

The role

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Build and support WinForms and WebForms applications
• Develop front-end functionality using Vue.js 3
• Design and optimise databases using Microsoft SQL Server
• Develop and integrate services using SOAP, WCF and gRPC
• Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with WinForms, WebForms and xkybehq Vue.js 3
• Solid experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience working with SOAP, WCF and gRPC
• Good understanding of software design principles
• Experience with version control tools (Azure DevOps / Git)
