The Role

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment you will lead efforts to attract and recruit top-tier technology talent to support ongoing business growth. Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and quantitative leadership teams, you will create talent pipelines, bringing the company to life while ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring journey. You will be extremely well positioned to influence and assist stakeholders to source the best global talent for their teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to anticipate talent requirements and shape hiring plans across the trading sector
  • Leverage analytics and external market intelligence to strengthen sourcing tactics and guide strategic recruitment decisions.
  • Identify and connect with high‐quality technical professionals through industry networks, communities, referrals, social channels, and recruitment partners.
  • Continuously cultivate strong talent pools across engineering, systems, networking, reliability, data, and technical operations disciplines.
  • Deliver a positive and well‐managed recruitment journey through transparent communication and prompt updates.
  • Take ownership, working closely with hiring managers to organise assessments, interviews, and structured evaluation processes.
  • Monitor industry developments and hiring trends to refine sourcing strategies and maintain a competitive talent approach.

Key Skills

  • At least 10 years managing full-cycle recruitment through both internal teams and external agencies, specifically in the financial services or software environments, for trading talent.
  • Demonstrated success filling niche and highly specialised technical positions, specifically using ICIMS, Linkedin Recruiter and CRM tools.
  • Advanced expertise in sourcing candidates across engineering, infrastructure, and technical operations.
  • Exceptional at building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of technical roles spanning trading, software, systems, networking, cloud platforms, and site reliability engineering.
