Graduate Manufacturing Technician

Salary: Up to £28K

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated graduate to join our Manufacturing team, supporting the assembly, testing and repair of high-reliability electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic and RF products following engineering drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, PCB soldering and other manufacturing processes to required quality standards.
• Complete production documentation and test records accurately.
• Support fault finding and repair activities on production units and returned products.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, ESD and quality requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering and Production teams to meet delivery targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including 5S and process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Practical aptitude and enthusiasm for hands-on engineering.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

• Placement year, internship, laboratory or project experience within an engineering environment.
• Basic soldering, electronics assembly or testing experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
• Familiarity with RF, microwave or electronic systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
