My client is looking for a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to join their Technology team. You will partner with colleagues globally to lead the ambitious transformation of their Commercial Platforms, rolling out a new, streamlined Lead-to-Order process that will serve the needs of all business units, underpin cross-selling of their Professional product portfolio and support future business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
• Define, plan, and drive the execution of a complex transformation roadmap for Commercial Platforms, aligning technology initiatives with strategic business goals.
• Deliver the consolidation of diverse business unit processes into a unified, streamlined Lead-to-Order ecosystem, enabling cross-selling and scalable growth.
• Take hands-on ownership of delivery elements, including detailed resource, capacity, and release planning across multiple workstreams and vendor teams.
• Collaborate extensively with stakeholders across Technology, Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Units to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of new platforms and processes.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, developing robust contingency plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive standardization and simplification across the commercial technology landscape, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish clear metrics and reporting mechanisms to track project progress, assess business benefits, and communicate status to senior leadership.
• Foster strong partnerships with internal technology teams and external SaaS platform vendors, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional delivery teams, motivating them towards successful, on-time, and in-scope delivery.
Required Experience
• Have significant experience (10+ years) in a technical delivery, program, or senior project management role, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex, large-scale IT transformation projects.
• Demonstrable expertise in planning, driving, and executing change initiatives across systems, workflows, and business processes.
• Possess deep practical knowledge of various project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools, with the ability to adapt as needed.
• Experience with large-scale B2B SaaS platform vendors in a business systems context is a must; Salesforce experience is highly desirable.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex system architectures, integrations (e.g., APIs), and data flows, translating technical details into clear business implications.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical and business conversations and effectively influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and inter-team conflicts within complex, multi-faceted programs.
• Highly proficient in resource allocation, capacity planning, release management, and performance reporting.
• Able to motivate, inspire, and drive virtual, multi-cultural teams towards achieving ambitious delivery goals.
• Experience in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data and analytics to monitor progress, assess impact, and inform decision-making.
• Highly proficient in Excel / JIRA and/or ADO Boards / Report Creation
Education/Certifications:
• University degree or equivalent experience in related field(s) preferred.
