Enterprise Architect - C#/.NET Core | Azure | Microservices | Event-Driven | Fully Remote

Enterprise Architect required for a fast-growing global SaaS organisation scaling its platform internationally.

This is a hands-on architecture role focused on designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems rather than people leadership. You will work closely with engineering teams to modernise a Legacy monolithic platform into a scalable, microservices-based, event-driven architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure.

The company is fully remote, with core collaboration in UK afternoon hours.

Responsibilities

-Develop and maintain enterprise architecture aligned to business goals

-Design scalable, secure, high-performance distributed systems

-Lead monolithic - microservices transformation

-Implement event-driven and clean architecture principle

-Define architectural standards and governance

-Collaborate closely with engineering and stakeholders

-Evaluate new technologies including AI/LLM integration

Technical Requirements

-5-10+ years enterprise architecture/large-scale systems experience

-Strong event-driven and event-sourced architecture experience

-Strong C#/.NET Core background

-Microsoft Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, SQL Server, Redis)

-Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API-driven architecture

-Experience decomposing monolithic platforms

-DevOps/CI/CD (Azure DevOps)

-Strong communicator, technically hands-on Python beneficial (FastAPI/Django)
