We're working with a well-funded AI-first technology business building systems that go beyond traditional chatbot experiences and execute real-world workflows autonomously.

The team is building a proactive AI product designed to help users organise, communicate, and complete meaningful tasks with minimal prompting.

The product focuses on long-running workflows, persistent context, and reliable real-world task execution, even when AI behaviour is non-deterministic. AI sits at the centre of the product experience, and you'll play a key role in shaping how users interact with intelligent systems on a daily basis.

The Opportunity

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll own the mobile experience and help define how AI feels, responds, and behaves in users' hands.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Building and maintaining production iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Integrating AI-powered functionality into user-facing experiences
• Designing intuitive AI interaction patterns, including streaming responses, retries, fallbacks, and loading states
• Building responsive, reliable, and performant mobile experiences
• Collaborating closely with Back End and machine learning engineers
• Capturing user feedback and behavioural signals to improve AI performance
• Maintaining high standards of stability, reliability, and App Store quality
• Optimising memory usage, battery consumption, and overall application performance

The team is interested in engineers who have built and shipped production mobile applications and understand the challenges of integrating AI into real user experiences.

Examples of relevant experience include:

• Swift and SwiftUI development
• AI-powered mobile applications
• Real Time or streaming user experiences
• Async/await, concurrency, and background tasks
• Mobile performance optimisation
• Designing systems that handle latency, partial failures, and AI uncertainty
• Feature flags and remote configuration
• CoreML or light on-device machine learning
• AI user experience and trust-focused design

• Experience operating applications at production scale
• Excellent engineering fundamentals
