Senior Rust Developer required for a high-performance trading environment, working on Real Time systems in a 24/7 production setting - £120k - £160k

This is a hands-on role focused on building, optimising, and supporting low-latency, high-throughput applications. You will work across the full development life cycle, contributing to system design, development, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Rust
• Design scalable, low-latency systems
• Work with Real Time data and trading-related platforms
• Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Provide production support within a 24/7 environment
• Collaborate on architecture and technical design
• Mentor junior team members

Key Skills/Experience:

• 5-8+ years' software development experience
• Strong Rust programming skills
• Linux/Unix environment experience
• Multithreading and concurrent programming
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems
• Knowledge of WebSockets, REST APIs, and network protocols
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable:

• Experience within financial markets or trading systems
• Exposure to crypto or blockchain technologies
