Lead Software Engineer (Leeds)

Hello UK folks from the Yorkshire area!

I’m looking for a Lead Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join my client, who is a global IT Powerhouse and trusted UK government partner, recognized for excellence in digital transformation. You'll lead development teams while hands-on coding, ensuring systems meet both technical and business goals.

ℹ️ ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) British or EU passport required.

Permanent | | On-site with remote flexibility | Full-time | Leeds, UK

Key skills:

• Java, JavaScript, Node.js (advanced proficiency)
• Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure (production experience)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Leadership experience required
• APIs, RESTful services, and Microservice Architectures
• CI/CD pipelines

This is a permanent on-site role offering £60,000 - £75,000 base salary with hybrid flexibility - you'll be required to commute to the office in Leeds once every two weeks.
