Tableau Developer

Overview

Join a global organization supporting business-critical reporting platforms across multiple regions. You will work within a distributed team providing analytics support across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.

• Permanent role - £85,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for BI platforms, resolving complex reporting and data issues
• Investigate data discrepancies, validate accuracy, and identify root causes
• Monitor and manage incoming support requests, ensuring timely resolution
• Support automated workflows and intervene when exceptions occur
• Explain data, metrics, and reporting logic clearly to business stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve issues

Required Experience

• Experience with sales or performance reporting environments
• Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Business Objects
• Ability to query and analyse data to troubleshoot issues
• Experience supporting BI platforms in a live environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical insights into business language
• Ability to manage multiple requests across time zones

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to both B2B and B2C reporting
• Experience with automated support workflows (e.g., chatbots, ticketing tools)
• Understanding of data pipelines and troubleshooting data issues
• Experience working in global, distributed teams
