AI Lead - UK (Remote) - c£100K
We are working with a growing Microsoft technology organisation that is investing heavily in AI Business Solutions and Microsoft cloud technologies. They are looking for an experienced AI Pre-Sales Team Lead to lead a specialist technical team while helping shape innovative AI solutions for enterprise customers.
This is more than a traditional pre-sales leadership role. You'll combine people leadership, technical solution design and commercial engagement, working across Microsoft's rapidly evolving AI ecosystem including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI and Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the AI Pre-Sales team, coordinating technical support across customer opportunities and helping build team capability.
- Shape AI-led solutions through customer discovery, workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and proposals, ensuring technical feasibility and managing risks.
- Partner closely with Sales, Solution Architecture and Delivery teams to support commercial opportunities, provide technical insight and ensure successful handovers.
- Develop AI propositions, demo environments and reusable technical assets, while acting as a senior escalation point for complex AI opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience leading, managing or mentoring technical consultants or pre-sales specialists.
- Strong background in technical pre-sales, solution consulting or solution specialist roles.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI and Power Platform.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting customer opportunities, demonstrations, POCs and revenue targets.
