D365 CE Functional Consultant
Job Description
Are you passionate about delivering transformative CRM solutions that create real-world impact? We're looking for a D365 CE Functional Consultant with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience to join our innovative digital transformation team supporting the housing sector.
In this fully remote role, you'll help shape how housing associations use Microsoft Dynamics to streamline operations, enhance tenant services, and meet regulatory requirements. Acting as the vital link between technical teams and business stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, configure solutions, and support users through systems that truly make a difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.

Configure and customise Dynamics 365 CE to meet housing-specific needs such as case management, repairs, tenancy and customer services.

Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams.

Support data migration, system integration, and testing to ensure successful project delivery.

Deliver engaging training sessions and develop user guides to support system adoption.

Work alongside project managers, developers, and support staff across the full project lifecycle.

Contribute to solution design documentation, best practice guidance, and system governance frameworks.

Provide post-implementation support and help drive continuous system improvements.

Stay informed on D365 CE developments and trends within the social housing sector.
Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Functional Consultant delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM implementations.

Experience working within housing, public sector, or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of CE modules, with practical experience in system configuration and customisation.

Confident in leading workshops, gathering requirements, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

Skilled in creating functional design documents and working with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Familiarity with the Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.

Experience with housing management systems or direct work within housing associations is a significant plus.

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
