D365FO Solution Architect - Retail & SCM - London - £140K
Nigel Frank are working with a leading global retailer on their search for a D365FO Solution Architect with a strong focus on Retail and Supply Chain Management.
This organisation is driving a major digital transformation programme across multiple regions and is investing heavily in D365FO as the backbone of its operations. You will be at the heart of shaping their ERP landscape, ensuring best practice solution architecture, and driving alignment between business strategy and technology delivery.
As the Solution Architect, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver robust and future-proof solutions - with a particular emphasis on Retail, SCM, and Production Management.
This position is offered on a hybrid basis with flexibility to work remotely, alongside occasional on-site collaboration at their UK HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the D365FO solution architecture across Retail, SCM, and Production Management modules
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into best-practice D365FO designs
- Provide architectural guidance and governance for system configuration, customisation's and integration's
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Lead solution design workshops and mentor a team of D365FO functional consultants
- Collaborate with SI partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Champion the use of Power Platform, ISV solutions, and integration patterns
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ year's experience implementing MS Dynamics ERP (AX / D365FO), with a minimum of 4 years in D365FO solution architecture
- Deep knowledge of Retail & Commerce (POS, store/channel management) and Supply Chain Management (procurement, inventory, warehousing)
- Experience in Production/Manufacturing module design and delivery
- Strong understanding of D365FO integration's and API frameworks
- Proven ability to lead workshops, mentor functional teams, and engage with senior stakeholders
