Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Inside IR35 Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)
We are currently supporting a client who is looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly within Sales, Marketing, and Field Service modules.
Role Overview
This is a client-facing functional role where you will lead requirement discovery, solution design, and fit-gap analysis, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to bridge the gap between business requirements and system capability, while ensuring alignment with Dynamics best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design workshops with business stakeholders
- Perform fit-gap analysis and validate requirements against Dynamics 365 capability
- Produce high-quality functional design documentation
- Configure and support Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing, and Field Service modules
- Work directly with business users and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Ensure adherence to Dynamics 365 best practices and governance standards
Required Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365
- Strong functional expertise across Sales, Marketing, and Field Service
- Experience with configuration and customization of Dynamics 365
- Proven ability to lead workshops and client-facing discussions
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Ability to assess requirement fitment within Dynamics 365 ecosystem
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is beneficial
