Project Manager - IT / InfrastructureLocation: Essex (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Salary: Up to £55,000Nigel Frank is working with a well-established Managed Service Provider in Essex to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager. This is a hybrid role, based primarily from the Essex head office, with occasional travel to new and existing client sites across the South East.This role focuses on client onboarding, offboarding and IT transition projects, ensuring smooth handover of systems and services with minimal disruption. You'll take ownership of projects from initial assessment through to delivery and closure, working closely with internal technical teams and external stakeholders.The RoleLead end-to-end IT transition, onboarding and infrastructure projectsOwn project planning, delivery, governance, risk and financial controlCarry out initial assessments and light technical audits of new client environments as part of onboardingCoordinate internal teams, subject matter experts and third-party suppliersManage stakeholders, timelines, budgets and delivery expectationsMaintain clear project documentation, reporting and RAID logsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standardsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally within an MSP environmentStrong experience delivering client onboarding, service transition or infrastructure projectsComfortable performing high-level technical audits of new client environmentsSolid understanding of IT systems, including at least three of the following: Microsoft 365 / Office 365 - Cloud technologies - Networking - Server / infrastructure environments - End-user / endpoint technologiesPRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualificationConfident stakeholder management skills, including senior-level contactsStrong planning, governance and financial management capabilityThe DetailsHybrid working - Essex officeOccasional travel to client sites across the South EastSalary up to £55,000 depending on experiencePermanent position with long-term progression opportunities
