Microsoft Power Platform Developer
£80,000–£85,000 per annum | Hybrid (2–3 days on-site)
Nigel Frank is working closely with a highly reputable UK-based organisation undergoing significant digital transformation. We’re currently looking to appoint an experienced Power Platform Developer who will be instrumental in designing and deploying intelligent, scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform stack.

Your Role
You'll be joining a forward-thinking technology team where you will play a key part in building applications that automate processes, enhance data insight, and improve user experience. This is a hands-on development role with influence across the full project lifecycle – from requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end solutions using Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective application designs.
- Create custom SharePoint Online solutions and web parts using SPFx and related web technologies.
- Develop and maintain data visualisations, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Enhance and streamline business processes through automation and system integration.
- Support the implementation of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure-based deployment models.
- Keep current with Power Platform updates and recommend suitable enhancements for adoption.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practice development standards.
Your Experience
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- 5+ years' experience building enterprise-grade solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Virtual Agents).
- Proficiency in developing .NET-based solutions, including experience with C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and related frameworks.
- Solid hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development and SPFx.
- Strong data modelling and analysis background, with working knowledge of SQL, data warehousing principles, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure SQL DB, and Data Factory is advantageous.
- A background in computer science or a related discipline, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
