Technology & Governance Consultant - UK (Remote) - c.£40K
A growing technology consultancy is looking to add a Technology & Governance Consultants to its team, supporting clients across Microsoft 365, data governance, risk, compliance and technology transformation.
This is an opportunity for someone with around 2-3 years' experience in a technology consulting, governance, risk or M365 environment who is looking to develop their consulting career. You'll work alongside experienced consultants and engineers, supporting client projects and delivering practical solutions without being expected to lead projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants and engineers across a range of technology, M365 and governance projects
- Assist with Microsoft 365 and Purview implementations, configuration and ongoing improvement
- Support process mapping, documentation and technology assessments
- Contribute to risk assessments, governance reviews and framework development
- Help gather requirements and translate client needs into clear documentation and deliverables
- Support the development of policies, processes, controls and governance models
- Assist with data, information and technology governance activities
Skills & Experience
- Around 2-3 years' experience in a technology consulting, governance, risk or M365-related role
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, ideally including Microsoft Purview, would be advantageous
- OR experience across technology governance, process mapping, risk assessments or framework development
- Good understanding of technology environments, processes and controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable producing clear technical documentation, reports and process documentation
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
