Business Systems Consultant
Company
We're working with a well-established retail business that's investing heavily in technology following a major ERP transformation. Having recently moved to Microsoft Business Central, they're now focused on maximising the platform, building internal capability, and reducing reliance on external partners.
Role
This is far more than a standard Business Central support role.
You'll take ownership of the BC environment, driving improvements, delivering enhancements, and helping the business get the most from its investment. From AL development and integrations to process optimisation and automation, you'll be the go-to expert for all things Business Central.
You'll be involved in:
- Business Central development and customisation
- AL extensions and integrations
- Process improvement and automation
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business
- Managing and challenging third-party providers where needed
- Supporting wider Microsoft technologies including Power Platform
The role is based in Sunderland and will require someone to spend 3-4 days per week in the office. A remote working option is not available.
Person
We're looking for someone who knows Business Central inside out and enjoys making things better.
You'll have strong hands-on experience with BC, ideally including AL development and integrations, and be comfortable taking ownership of a platform rather than sitting purely in a support function.
If you enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and having real influence on how technology supports a growing business, this could be a great fit.
