Channel Development Manager

The Opportunity: We are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed telecoms and connectivity provider that has been established for over three decades and is now entering an exciting phase of expansion. The business delivers mobile connectivity and IoT solutions through a strong channel model and has ambitious plans to scale its partner network significantly over the next 12–18 months.With a robust marketing engine in place ready to scale, our client is seeking a Channel Development Manager to join a high-performing team and drive both new partner acquisition and existing account growth. This is a true land-and-expand role for someone who thrives on building relationships and accelerating deals. If you’re a proactive channel sales professional with a hunter mentality and a passion for driving revenue, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and make a real impact.Role Profile:•    Drive Channel Growth: Proactively onboard new channel partners to increase market share and unlock new revenue streams across mobile and IoT solutions. •    Maximise Lead Conversion: Respond to high-quality inbound leads and marketing campaigns while actively generating new opportunities through strategic networking, targeted outreach, and leveraging industry relationships. •    Account Development: Manage a diverse portfolio of partners, maintaining regular engagement through virtual and face-to-face meetings to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities. •    Strategic Planning: Build joint business plans with partners, uncover cross-sell and up-sell potential, and accelerate deals through the pipeline to deliver measurable commercial impact. •    Collaborative Execution: Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to design and implement partner-led initiatives that drive mutual success and brand visibility. •    Performance Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver insightful reporting on channel performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.Person Specification:•    Proven experience in B2B channel development, ideally within telecom, mobile, or IoT sectors (SaaS or IT reseller experience considered).•    Strong hunter mentality with a track record of acquiring new partners and driving revenue growth.•    Skilled in building joint business plans and influencing senior stakeholders.•    Evidence of hitting/exceeding targets and recognition for sales performance.•    Tech-savvy with CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and familiarity with digital onboarding.•    Personable, proactive, and resilient under pressure.•    Ideally based in Yorkshire or North East for regular office visits
