Digital Innovation & Enterprise Programme Lead

The Opportunity We are seeking a forward-thinking Strategic Programme Development Partner to lead the creation and delivery of a high-impact Digital Innovation and Enterprise Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, commercially minded programme leader to shape a new flagship centre for digital innovation, enterprise, and regional economic growth.In this role, you will develop and deliver the Hub’s first strategic and operational plan, working closely with senior stakeholders, external partners, funders, and industry representatives. You will oversee the establishment of a physical and digital innovation space, shaping programmes that support students, industry, and the wider regional ecosystem.What you'll be doing?- Lead the co-creation of the Digital Innovation & Enterprise Hub and establish its strategic direction- Develop a fully costed business plan, driving commercial sustainability and funding opportunities- Build strong partnerships with government, funders, industry, and regional innovation networks- Lead programme and project delivery across a portfolio of digital innovation initiatives- Engage senior university stakeholders and coordinate a cross-functional steering group- Develop new innovation programmes aligned with internal capabilities and external market demand- Oversee student enterprise activities and innovation ecosystem development- Track, analyse, and report on KPIs linked to innovation, enterprise, partnerships, and commercial income What you'll bring:- Strong experience in strategic programme development, digital innovation, enterprise, or commercial partnerships- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans at organisational level- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects or programmes- Demonstrated success in securing funding, sponsorship, or commercial income- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills- Experience supporting innovation or enterprise initiatives is desirable Why join?
