Junior IT Business Analyst (12-months FTC)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a growing organisation undergoing a significant programme of business and technology transformation.

This role will play a key part in delivering a range of strategic change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across business and IT functions to define requirements, improve processes, and support the successful implementation of new technology solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Produce process maps and undertake current-state and future-state analysis.
• Create user stories, functional specifications and supporting documentation.
• Support business case development and benefits realisation activities.
• Work closely with project teams, suppliers and technical specialists.
• Contribute to solution design, testing, implementation and change management activities.
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully translated into business outcomes.

Key Transformation Projects
Telephony Transformation

• Consolidation of multiple contact centres onto a single platform.
• Requirements definition, vendor engagement and implementation support.

ERP Implementation

• Supporting the delivery of a future-state enterprise platform across Finance, HR and Operations.
• Process redesign, requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment.

Data & Automation Programme

• Improving reporting capabilities, analytics and operational efficiency.
• Supporting business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.

About You
We're looking for an junior Business Analyst who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering IT and business change projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering complex requirements.
• Knowledge of business process modelling and process improvement techniques.
• Experience producing user stories, functional specifications and business cases.
• Ability to work across both business and technical teams.
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
