IT Support Analyst
About the Role:
I am recruiting for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a growing organisation and provide professional, customer-focused IT support across a busy business environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in IT support, service desk, helpdesk, or desktop support positions. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, managing support tickets, onboarding new users, supporting business systems, and contributing to IT improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day IT support to users across the business.
- Manage support tickets through to resolution, ensuring users are kept informed throughout.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user-related issues.
- Escalate complex issues where appropriate.
- Set up and support new starters, including user accounts, devices, licences, and permissions.
- Manage leaver and role-change processes.
- Support laptops, desktops, printers, telephony, and business applications.
- Assist with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Active Directory, and other core business systems.
- Create and maintain support documentation and user guides.
- Work alongside third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and managing workloads effectively.
- Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Windows desktop and laptop support experience.
- User account, permissions, and device management.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
