IT Support Analyst

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Analyst to join a well-established and growing organisation within the food manufacturing sector. With around 250 employees and a turnover exceeding £100m, the business is undergoing a major digital transformation and is expanding its in-house IT function.

This role is ideal for a graduate or junior IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience across support, ERP systems, and cloud technologies within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

You will join a small but growing internal IT team, providing first-line support to users across the business while playing a key role in large-scale transformation projects, including a company-wide ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line IT support across hardware, software, and user issues
  • Supporting day-to-day IT operations and system maintenance
  • Working with third-party IT providers where required
  • Assisting with an ERP (SAP Business One) implementation and ongoing support
  • Maintaining IT documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Strong interest in IT and technology
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Logical thinker with basic understanding of SQL or programming concepts
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

Desirable:

  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Experience with IT service desks or ticketing tools
