This is a highly visible role offering genuine influence, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to mentor and develop less experienced team members. This is a full-time, permanent position based predominantly onsite in Newcastle, working closely with colleagues across technology and the wider business.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Lead complex data migration and integration initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Cleanse, transform and improve data quality within enterprise systems.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support cloud-based data engineering initiatives within an AWS environment.
  • Contribute to the development of future AI and automation capabilities by ensuring data is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose.
  • Help establish best practice around data governance, architecture and engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the ongoing development of internal capability.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver business-critical projects.
