Senior Developer - Contract
The Role Exciting opportunity to join a well established North East basis on an initial 6 month contract basis.The organisation have a new ERP system and need additional expertise to get this integrated and developed. Highly skilled in Python development is a most and an expert in API integrations with strong mentoring skills. This role will require you to be onside in Newcastle 2-3 days per week and will be outside of IR35. May be a bit of flex on day rate depending on experience.Essential for the role
- Integration development and API engineering
- Strong experience working with third-party APIs
- Deep knowledge of REST, SOAP and API architectural patterns
- Significant experience with Python and .NET/C#
- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server
- Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining applications and microservices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, secure and well-documented code
- Confident coach and mentor to other developers
- Strong team-player with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to own and lead the full tech stack
