Solutions Architect

As the Solutions Architect, you’ll take ownership of designing and governing end-to-end solutions across a large, distributed application and data estate. You’ll map and rationalise system interactions, improve data flows, and set the architectural direction that supports business growth across design, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, ecommerce, and global operations.This role requires both strategic input and delivery of solutions: you’ll manage legacy integrations, shape future-state architecture, and influence senior decision-makers while championing best practice and consistency.

Key areas include:

  • Defining scalable, secure solution designs aligned to overarching enterprise goals
  • Mapping complex data flows across PLM, PIM, ERP, CRM, ecommerce, warehousing and integrations
  • Bringing architectural discipline, governance, and long-term thinking to a rapidly evolving environment
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate operational challenges into robust technical solutions
  • Ensuring technology choices fit the bigger picture, not just departmental priorities

You’re a seasoned Solutions Architect ready for a step up — someone who thinks in enterprise-wide patterns, not just project-level implementations. You thrive in complex environments, ask the right questions, and quickly build credibility across diverse business teams.You’ll bring strong experience in integrated, multi-application landscapes (ideally with exposure to manufacturing or product-centric environments), paired with excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to simplify complexity.You’re curious, pragmatic, and commercially minded — capable of making confident technology recommendations that balance innovation, risk, and long-term value.The role requires someone to be in the office 4 days per week so we're only considering candidates who are able to be based in the North East. Salary is dependant on experience but likely to be up to £90,000.
