Test Analyst
The Role Excellent opportunity to join a growing test team on a 12 month FTC initially. This role is Newcastle based and will require you to be onsite 2 days per week.Role Responsibilities The Test Analyst plays a pivotal role within my clients IM&T function by ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems and applications. As a key member of the Build Team, the Test analyst will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful delivery of robust and secure IT solutions. You’ll build upon testing policies and strategies, enabling IM&T to define what quality really means and embed those values.Essential for the role
- Demonstrated experience in software testing
- Embedding and developing test strategies
- Expertise in creating an automation testing framework and associated tests using various tools and languages such as Selenium, Java etc.
- Extensive experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps
