Typescript Developer

Company We're looking for a midlevel Typescript developer to join a forward-thinking technology business who have an exciting range of software solutions. In this role, you’ll design and build secure, scalable software solutions and APIs that are driving a global product portfolio. You’ll work with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and authentication technologies, while occasionally contributing to frontend flows in React/TypeScript for end-to-end delivery. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Optimising databases for performance and scalability.
• Implementing secure identity and authentication services.
• Supporting frontend delivery when required.
• Driving best practices in testing, CI/CD, and observability.

Person We're looking for an experienced Typescript developer with a good understanding of APIs, microservices, and relational databases. This is a full stack role and you will need some exposure to both front and back end development work and a interest in both.This role does require candidates who are able to work from the office, Newcastle city centre, 3 days per week and unfortunately is not able to provide sponsorship. Candidates will need to have a right to work in the UK, ideally long-term such as ILR, settled status or a British passport.
