🚀 SharePoint Engineer (Contract) – Migration Project

📍 Central London (2 days onsite) | 💰 £550 per day | 📅 6-month contract

We’re looking for a hands-on SharePoint Engineer to join a high-impact migration project, supporting the transition from Google Drive to SharePoint Online within an established (brownfield) environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity — transforming unorganised data into a clean, scalable, and business-friendly SharePoint architecture.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

✨ Lead the migration from Google Drive to SharePoint Online

📂 Turn unstructured data into logical folder structures and document libraries

🏗️ Design and implement scalable SharePoint solutions aligned to business needs

🔄 Work within a live brownfield environment with minimal disruption

🤝 Partner with stakeholders to define taxonomy, classification, and governance

🧹 Support data cleansing, deduplication, and optimisation

🧠 What We’re Looking For

✅ Strong experience with SharePoint Online (cloud environments)

✅ Proven delivery of Google Drive → SharePoint migrations

✅ Solid understanding of information architecture & data taxonomy

✅ Experience working in brownfield / legacy environments

✅ Ability to organise large volumes of unstructured data

✅ Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement experience

📆 Contract Overview (6 Months)

🔍 Discovery & Planning: Assess data, define structure & migration approach

🧪 Pilot & Design: Build SharePoint framework and test migrations

🚚 Full Migration: Deliver end-to-end data migration and optimisation

📦 Handover: Documentation, governance, and user support
