Project Manager (automotive)

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager to lead the delivery of complex business and transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and can confidently manage stakeholders across multiple teams.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Hybrid 2/3 days a week

1 year Contract which will be extended

Paying £340 a day

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects or programmes
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and assign responsibilities
• Monitor project performance across cost, timeline, and staffing
• Identify risks and proactively resolve blockers
• Ensure adherence to internal governance and quality standards
• Provide clear and concise stakeholder reporting
• Manage third-party vendors and track deliverables where required
• Support and mentor junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing complex projects or programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with project planning tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Experience working in structured environments (e.g. governance, compliance, or transformation)
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience in business transformation or digital delivery
• Exposure to regulated environments (e.g. finance, automotive, energy)
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks
