Assistant Reporting & Forecasting Manager

We are currently looking for an Assistant Reporting & Forecasting Manager to join a driven finance team, leading the delivery of a commercially focused financial service. This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £50K, company vehicle, and benefits package. You'll be based in Wath upon Dearne.The Assistant Reporting & Forecasting Manager position is offering:• 25 days annual leave (+ public holidays)• Life cover equivalent to 2 times annual salary• Employee discount schemes with major brands and retailers• Gym membership discounts• Cycle to work scheme• Holiday purchase scheme• 2 corporate social responsibility days per year• A broad range of learning opportunities, including professional qualifications, collective and individual training, and personalised support programmes• Attractive Employee Referral Rewards SchemeThe responsibilities of the Assistant Reporting & Forecasting Manager include:• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the reporting team and support their development• Produce meaningful and timely executive-level analysis of monthly business performance• Facilitate month-end Flash reporting across UK divisions• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow• Manage actuals and forecasting entries into Divisional Adjustments and present findings to the CFO and executive team• Challenge current business practices and identify opportunities for process improvement• Act as the key contact for controlling working capital reporting queries• Assist with management accounting and balance sheet reconciliations• Support ad-hoc activities, including new system implementation We're looking for candidates with the following experience:• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified• Strong IT skills with advanced working knowledge of Excel is essential• Experience using multiple systems for consolidation and reporting (SAP, BPC, Tagetik, Power BI, SSRS preferred)• Experience working in large, complex organisations with multiple divisions• Previous experience managing or supervising a small teamIf you think you're the right fit for the Assistant Reporting & Forecasting Manager role, apply with your updated CV or send it to for a confidential discussion.
