We're partnering with a fast-growing AI business whose platform helps large, document-heavy organisations automate complex, high-volume workflows and operate at a scale that simply wasn't possible before. It's a genuinely differentiated product solving a real, expensive problem for enterprise clients

Here's the exciting part: they've scaled rapidly to around 30 people and reached multi-million ARR in just a couple of years, all without a dedicated sales team. The founders have closed every deal so far. Now they're building their commercial function, and this is the first person in to help do it

The role

This is a true founding SDR seat. You'll work side by side with the founders, owning the top of the funnel and booking qualified discovery meetings for them to demo and close. It's a consultative, enterprise-level, pure outbound role, not a high-velocity call centre. You'll build the playbook, not inherit one

What you'll do

  • Run a smart, multi-channel outbound motion (calls, personalised email, LinkedIn, video) into senior decision-makers and operators at enterprise accounts
  • Write genuinely personal openers, not mass templates
  • Build and refine ICPs and target lists alongside the founders, using a best-in-class stack (Apollo, HubSpot, Clay, Sales Navigator) and AI tooling
  • Test and learn, qualify hard, and spot new segments worth going after
  • Book qualified meetings and feed market intelligence back to the team

This is a deliberately lower-volume, quality-led motion: well-researched, personalised outreach into a tight set of accounts, focused on booking a small number of genuinely qualified meetings each month rather than hitting big daily quotas

What we're looking for

  • Around 2 to 5 years' outbound SDR/BDR experience in an enterprise or research-led motion, with a track record you can evidence
  • An AI or SaaS sales background, comfortable with longer, higher-value, consultative cycles
  • Real ownership: you build, diagnose and adjust, and you're energised by being first
  • A strong writer, fluent across calls, email and LinkedIn
  • Driven, low-ego, and genuinely excited to build something

Nice to have: experience selling a complex or technical product into senior, regulated, or risk-conscious buyers; exposure to a sales methodology (MEDDIC, SPICED, Command of the Message); some marketing or demand-generation awareness
